Description

You will own the management and support of critical healthcare application systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide product ownership and senior expertise on decisions and priorities for the Meditech Expanse EMR.
• Manage and resolve system incidents, escalating critical issues to vendors to maintain uptime.
• Coordinate and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades across application systems.
• Participate in the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and administrative applications.
• Act as a liaison between IT and operational staff, optimizing workflows and ensuring data integrity.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience supporting healthcare IT systems.
• Expertise with Acute and/or Ambulatory Meditech Expanse Electronic Health Records systems.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.
• Proficiency in training and supporting EMR system users, including physicians.
• Excellent verbal and written technical and non-technical communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical terminology for Business Operations and Physician Practice staff.
• Experience with Systems Admin, Help Desk, and System Specialist functions.
• Dedication to process improvement and ownership of assigned projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, IT, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration.
