IT Architect

You will drive the architecture and design of SaaS products built on the Salesforce ecosystem in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical expertise to the design of Salesforce-based SaaS products alongside product development teams.
• Define and drive the adoption of principles, frameworks, and reference architectures across key technology platforms.
• Govern value-based prioritization of product and platform roadmaps in collaboration with product managers.
• Facilitate cross-product initiatives to harmonize technology strategies across business lines.
• Lead technical evaluations of existing solutions and present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Deep experience with Salesforce technologies including Apex Classes, Lightning Components, VisualForce, Process Builder, Platform Events, and Triggers.
• Proficiency with SOQL and SOSL Queries.
• Experience using Force.com IDEs and CLI tools.
• Proven track record of developing Software as a Service solutions using Managed Packages.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or a related business degree.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Architect Certifications such as Technical Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
