Description

You will design and develop solutions for complex application, system administration, and network concerns. You will own the stability, security, and scalability of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system architectures, verifying stability, interoperability, security, and scalability.
• Optimize software performance for batch processes and client reports as data volumes increase.
• Manage system integration, hardware/software installations, and server repositories including backups and archiving.
• Analyze database performance using SQL Server to identify and resolve expensive queries.
• Lead defect triage meetings with developers and subject matter experts to resolve issues identified during testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT architecture or systems management.
• Proficiency in SQL Server for data analysis and query performance measurement.
• Experience with Active Directory administration and user group management.
• Ability to perform system modeling and simulations to predict performance under various conditions.
• Hands-on experience with operating system, network, and application software installation.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks, specifically sprint planning and daily scrums.
• Strong technical communication skills for presenting reports, white papers, and project information.

Preferred Skills

• Experience directing hardware and software maintenance, including upgrades and capacity planning for servers and disk space.
• Implementation of single login technologies for application access.
