Description

You will act as a lead architect for strategic projects within the Cloud Automation and Innovation team, driving architectural initiatives to improve build and run processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex architecture setups across distributed systems within SAP Technology contexts.
• Own and deliver strategic projects end-to-end, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
• Drive the creation, consolidation, and innovation roadmap for ECS architecture.
• Coordinate technical efforts across multiple teams and international boundaries.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT system landscape architecture.
• Proven technical experience with ECS supported hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and private cloud environments.
• Strong technical expertise in end-to-end automation for provisioning and lifecycle management of SAP system landscapes.
• Deep knowledge of operating systems, ideally with RHEL or SUSE advanced certification.
• Solid technical experience with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, and GIT.
• Experience applying CI/CD concepts and automating agile deployment principles.
• Familiarity with SAP Applications and tools such as Landscape Management (LAMA) or Focused Run (FRUN).
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or ABAP.
