Description

You will manage the lifecycle of software and hardware assets to ensure compliance and optimize technology spend.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise software license agreements to align entitlements with actual consumption.
• Oversee software harvesting and optimization while serving as a subject matter expert on various licensing models.
• Maintain ITAM and CMDB databases through daily operations and continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate between IT Operations, Delivery, and Procurement to satisfy hardware and software requirements.
• Develop and implement procedures for tracking assets and managing vendor governance meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management.
• Expertise interpreting licensing terms, contracts, and pricing for Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, VMware, and RedHat.
• Proficiency with asset management and discovery tools including ServiceNow SAM Pro, BMC, SCCM, ILMT, and BigFix.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and Service Management frameworks.
• Ability to create reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.
• Experience identifying and closing gaps in existing ITAM processes.
