Manage the full lifecycle of software licenses and hardware assets to ensure organizational compliance and inventory accuracy.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Track software licenses and maintenance agreements, including period of performance, license counts, and ownership data.
• Maintain hardware inventory within ServiceNow to ensure accurate data feeds for dependent applications.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain quotes and identify savings opportunities for renewals and maintenance.
• Coordinate with procurement and accounting teams to manage lead times and financial documentation.
• Assign and revoke software licenses via vendor portals and develop annual licensing budgets.

Required Skills

• 3 to 4 years of experience in software and hardware asset management.
• 3 to 4 years of experience negotiating vendor agreements.
• Proficiency with network discovery tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Client Manager, or Microsoft SCCM.
• Expertise in software licensing and hardware terminology.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training and certifications.

Preferred Skills

• IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) certification.
• IAITAM Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) certification.
