You will manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance and data integrity within the configuration management database.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software models from introduction to retirement within the DML.
• Maintain and audit the CMDB to ensure all assets, dependencies, and attributes are accurately recorded.
• Supervise a team of procurement and asset analysts, including recruiting and performance management.
• Execute license compliance audits and manage responses to software editor requests.
• Design, implement, and enhance strategic asset management processes and governance functions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an IT asset analyst.
• 5+ years of experience managing staff.
• 5+ years of experience working with a CMDB and supporting business services.
• 5+ years of experience with ITSM tools, specifically ServiceNow.
• Profound knowledge of software licensing agreements, including Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle.
• Experience using Discovery tools and managing IT Service Management processes.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• IAITAAM Certifications such as CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAM.
