Description

You manage IT purchasing processes and financial documentation for the Department of Environmental Quality. You own the full purchase order lifecycle, from creation to payment, while ensuring strict compliance with NC State procurement rules.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT contracts using IFBs, RFQs, and other procurement documents.
• Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle including creation, approval, documentation, receiving, and payment.
• Process bill payments using NCAAS and other front-line financial applications.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with NC State procurement rules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience with NC State procurement rules.
• 3+ years of experience using NCAAS or similar applications for bill payments.
• Proficiency in fundamental accounting principles.
• Experience managing IT contracts, specifically IFBs and RFQs.
• Hands-on experience with the complete purchase order process.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience with Ariba E-procurement.
• Basic IT knowledge and familiarity.
