Description

You bridge business stakeholders and technical data engineering teams to drive GCP-based data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements through workshops and interviews to document user stories and data flow diagrams.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and quality issues before migration into GCP.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
• Support data validation, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within data-centric or cloud-based projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Hands-on familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to document technical specifications and data requirements clearly.
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations and communicating technical requirements to business users.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data governance and compliance principles.
