You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to define, analyze, and document requirements for banking and capital markets projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze current-state processes and translate high-level business needs into detailed, testable specifications and process flow diagrams.
• Partner with Solution Architects and technical leads to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and system capabilities.
• Review and validate technical designs and prototypes against documented requirements, resolving conflicts and decomposing complex information.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and blockers while providing clear reporting to USIT management and compliance members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in KYC, Client Onboarding, Regulatory, Compliance Banking, or Capital Markets.
• Strong exposure to regulators such as FINRA or the Federal Reserve.
• Proficiency in writing BRDs, FRDs, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, and Data Flow Diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and reconciliation across systems.
• Ability to use Power BI or similar tools for data storytelling and presenting insights.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
