You will bridge clinical, finance, and IT departments to optimize healthcare operations and revenue cycle management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements for healthcare IT systems and processes.
• Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track KPIs for revenue cycle management and patient care.
• Optimize RCM workflows, including patient registration, billing, claims processing, and reimbursement.
• Perform complex data analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and financial trends.
• Ensure all technical solutions comply with HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and healthcare industry standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the healthcare industry.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Expertise in revenue cycle management (billing, coding, and claims processing).
• Experience working with EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic or Cerner.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Healthcare-specific certifications such as AHIMA or HFMA.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
