You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementations within a financial services context.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and develop functional specifications, focusing on use cases and test case definition.
• Define and implement technology solutions tailored to the needs of a major financial institution.
• Analyze datasets using SQL to support business decision-making.
• Provide user training and ongoing support for implemented systems.
• Apply various system development lifecycle methodologies and tailor artifacts to fit specific project needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant technical and business work experience.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within a large financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of banking and financial domains, including risk management, finance, and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with relational databases (RDBMS).
• Ability to write SQL statements, specifically SELECT, for data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming, specifically C#.
