Description

You will provide technical and organizational leadership for IT strategy and municipal technology operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT technical planning and recommendations during annual budget preparation.
• Identify cost savings by consolidating equipment and standardizing software platforms across departments.
• Coordinate IT and communication support across all Town facilities.
• Manage the procurement and installation of new servers, hardware, and software.
• Develop formal procedures and documentation for IT processes and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT consulting or strategic IT planning.
• Proven experience with CJIS and HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with public safety software including IMC and CSI Technology CAD.
• Experience with municipal systems such as Tyler-Munis or ViewPoint Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent.
