Description

You will lead the modernization of legacy systems from Perl/MySQL to Java/React/MariaDB on AWS, providing expert guidance and validating deliverables.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Modernize application components and define technical procedures.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Analyze operations, identify improvements, and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor team members and simplify complex technical information.
• Plan and review system and user acceptance testing activities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years experience with Perl programming.
• 10+ years full-stack development with Java and React.
• 10+ years experience with MySQL and MariaDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to conduct peer reviews and validate project deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Construction Management subject matter expertise.
• Experience designing test plans and testing Java applications.
