Description

You will manage, design, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure and system architectures in Columbus, NC.

Responsibilities

• Identify, repair, and resolve enterprise network infrastructure issues using ServiceDesk plus.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions, including complex routing and firewall/switch configurations.
• Monitor environments, create performance reports, and recommend strategic hardware and software changes.
• Develop automation, tools, and smart alerts to simplify incident response and improve system reliability.
• Formalize technical documentation, including policies, procedures, engineering specifications, and statements of work.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of progressive IT experience with a focus on networking.
• Senior-level knowledge of enterprise firewalls and switches.
• Ability to implement solutions for complex routing requirements.
• 3+ years of experience interfacing with customers to provide technical solutions.
• Proven experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
• Proficiency with ServiceDesk plus or similar incident management tools.
• Experience with networking devices and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
