The role encompasses working with data scientists and data engineers to enable data-driven decisions to enable genome editing products. You will work in an organization of diverse and empowered teams to contribute to our mission of Health for All and Hunger for None. The primary responsibilities of this role, Processing and migrating data across databases (Postgres, AWS RDS, BigQuery) Develop and execute ETL processes Collaborate with backend teams across Breeding and Biotech to migrate data across assets Provide technical contributions in a fast-paced team environment to accelerate our efforts on building a data-driven crop genome editing pipeline Demonstrate familiarity with common software development lifecycle (ex. Github, Git, agile project management) Strong written and verbal communication skills Who you are: Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in data science, computer science, or statistics with relevant experience. Proficient in R, Python and SQL. Experience with AWS and Google cloud services. Good communication and coordination skills with a collaborative mindset. Communication skills with fluency in English, both verbal and written. Clear logical thinking, strong sense of responsibility, and adaptability to fast-paced environments. Proficient in generating, manipulating, and connecting large datasets. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with biological science data sets. B.S. with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or M.S. degree. Infrastructure as code experience
