Description

You will enable data-driven decisions for genome editing products by processing and migrating data across databases and collaborating with data scientists and engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute ETL processes to migrate data across assets for Breeding and Biotech teams.
• Manage data processing in Postgres, AWS RDS, and BigQuery.
• Collaborate with backend teams to build a data-driven crop genome editing pipeline.
• Utilize Github, Git, and agile project management practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with AWS and Google Cloud services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to generate, manipulate, and connect large datasets.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle tools (Github, Git, agile).
• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with biological science datasets.
• Master's degree or minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a B.S.
• Infrastructure as code experience.
