Description

You will provide data science components to support retail strategy and business result optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical solutions using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques.
• Perform hands-on analysis, search pattern design, and mining automation development.
• Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources.
• Support Complex Event Processing and Real-Time Event Processing within Big Data contexts.
• Mentor team members to develop analytical skill sets across the organization.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience using data to solve problems and create visualizations.
• 4+ years of experience in data quality analysis and data architecture.
• 4+ years of professional development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Proficiency in Python and Scala.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Warren, MI.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with R.
• Background in the automotive industry.
