Description

You will lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale data platforms and distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and manipulate data in operational and analytics databases to ensure integrity and quality.
• Design and deploy data platforms across multiple domains to ensure operability and scale.
• Transform data for meaningful analysis and build data enrichment processes.
• Manage data stores at scale while ensuring governance, security, access, and compliance.
• Improve data efficiency, reliability, and performance across the pipeline.

Required Skills

• 6+ years designing, coding, and supporting distributed, data-intensive systems at scale.
• 7+ years of experience within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 6+ years of relational database delivery experience.
• 4+ years of development with Big Data stacks including Hadoop, MapR, Talend, Pig Scripting, HBase, Hive, and Spark.
• 3+ years of non-relational (NoSQL, Big Data) delivery experience.
• 3+ years with DevOps automation tools such as Python and Oozie.
• 4+ years of experience in Agile delivery.
• Experience with healthcare data and knowledge of healthcare privacy and security practices.
• Ability to communicate data capabilities and value to customers.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in Go, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with streaming frameworks like Kafka and PaaS like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and monitoring tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Grafana, and Prometheus, or Azure cloud environments.
