Description

You will manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of desktop technology and support end users with hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerability patching for selected lab systems and communicate updates to lab owners and technical staff.
• Upgrade legacy Windows systems to the current client version.
• Update and maintain the configuration management database and Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot problems with new and existing equipment and resolve routine technical issues.
• Coordinate resources and assist with the purchase and installation of hardware and software.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of IT experience including hands-on hardware experience beyond imaging and deployment.
• Active Directory administration.
• Experience imaging PCs and working with deployment servers.
• Hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and support.
• Basic knowledge management.
• Basic smart hands knowledge for network configuration.
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals.
• CompTIA A+.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Skills

• Associate Degree.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• CompTIA Cloud+, Mobility+, Network+, or Server+ certifications.
