Description

You will design, develop, and deliver technology-enabled applications and services. You own the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements, design specifications, and enterprise standards. You decompose complex problems into manageable work items and provide technical guidance to junior developers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, code, and debug software solutions while applying enterprise standards and development best practices.
• Oversee design efforts across capabilities, provide technical estimates, and act as a technical advisor to project managers and QA leads.
• Decompose complex problems into work items for delivery by others and provide technical guidance on coding and design.
• Evaluate new solutions and tools, contribute to development standards, and maintain technical solution diagrams and models.
• Assess and recommend IT capability improvements, including implementing logging, monitoring, and software upgrades.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development using C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with backend languages: Python 3+ and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDb, CloudWatch) or Azure.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS.
• Experience with version control (Git, SVN) and build tools (NuGet, NPM).
• Understanding of web service development, SOAP, WSDL, and XML.

Preferred Skills

• Background in large financial services or insurance companies.
• Familiarity with AI tools and generative AI resources.
