Description

You will manage fiscal, budgetary, and accounting operations for the IT program, ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fiscal operations, processes, policies, and procedures for the IT program.
• Manage department expenditures and support annual IT budget request planning.
• Analyze projects, infrastructure, and applications to validate and control costs.
• Perform monthly project expense forecasting and analyze Infrastructure (VITA) billing.
• Prepare cost/variance reports and consolidated monthly project financial reports for senior management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
• 5+ years of experience in general accounting practices and financial management.
• 5+ years of experience providing customer service to professionals, vendors, and executive staff.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex spreadsheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and MS Word.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand IT infrastructure and cost drivers.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA for meetings and training.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with performance metrics and financial accountability methods.
• 1+ years of experience with Commonwealth of VA financial processes.
• Experience using the Cardinal financial system.
