Description

You will manage the fiscal, budgetary, and accounting operations for the IT program.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fiscal operations, processes, policies, and procedures for the IT program.
• Support the annual IT budget request plan and manage departmental expenditures.
• Analyze projects, infrastructure, and applications to validate and control costs.
• Perform monthly program and project expense forecasting, including Infrastructure (VITA) bill analysis.
• Execute procurement, vendor financial analysis, and pricing reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting practices and financial management.
• 5+ years of experience providing customer service to professionals, vendors, and executive staff.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, specifically complex Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and their cost drivers.
• Ability to present financial project aspects to senior management.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience with Commonwealth of Virginia financial knowledge.
• 1 year of experience with the Cardinal financial system.
• Experience with performance metrics, measurements, and methods for financial accountability.
