Description

You will serve as the local Subject Matter Expert for the Minotaur Aviation Mission System (MAMS), maintaining mission system hardware and software.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mission system hardware and software through daily organizational level maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and correct component and network-related failures or discrepancies.
• Manage software baselines by re-imaging system hard drives using the Re-Imaging Station.
• Interpret system diagrams, wiring schematics, and drawings to support engineering investigations.
• Provide technical expertise on interface and integration requirements to engineering and development staff.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, developing, or supporting IT systems, networks, and programs.
• Substantial experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2012, and Server 2016.
• Familiarity with Linux/RHEL operating systems and virtual machines.
• Knowledge of 1553 data-bus architecture, USB connections, SCSI interfaces, Ethernet, and serial communication protocols.
• Background in network administration and computer systems management.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Ability to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (GSec, Security+CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) at the time of hire.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with aviation or defense mission systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering schematics.
