IT Help Desk Engineer

You will manage the maintenance, configuration, and operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization in an onsite capacity in Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2012/2019, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
• Administer Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure computing, administration, and networking.
• Maintain SonicWALL firewall environments, including access points and WLAN management.
• Execute backup operations and implement processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover.
• Resolve technical issues involving LAN, WAN, and WLAN configuration across multiple AD forests.
• Provide technical documentation and specifications for IT infrastructure upgrades and planning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of network and system administration experience.
• Expertise in SonicWALL firewall administration and management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and MS Office configuration.
• Experience with Azure computing and networking.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and hardware.
• Proven ability to implement Helpdesk and IT operations best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Preferred Skills

• IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields.
