Description

Administer and optimize Windows and Linux server infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, including virtual machines, hosts, clusters, and storage.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement patching strategies and manage WSUS to ensure system compliance and security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain file share systems, DFS, and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in system administration and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vMotion, DRS, and HA.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of patch management, firewalls, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Cloud certification.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Server hardware and storage management.
