Description

You will lead the administration of Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, installation, and configuration of Linux server hardware and software.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Linux server administrators.
• Implement security measures, compliance policies, and patch management strategies.
• Monitor server performance to proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate server management tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Manage capacity planning and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in Linux server administration and team leadership.
• Strong expertise in Linux operating systems including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware.
• Hands-on experience with Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Deep understanding of server hardware, storage, and networking concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex server and infrastructure issues.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Relevant certifications such as RHCE or CompTIA Linux+.
• IT experience within the banking industry.
