Description

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects across discovery, planning, execution, and stabilization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-prem to cloud migration initiatives for servers, applications, databases, identity, and end-user services.
• Drive project governance, status reporting, executive dashboards, and steering committee updates.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, schedules, milestones, and dependency maps.
• Coordinate migration waves, cutover planning, rollback strategies, and post-migration support.
• Translate technical risks and dependencies into business-impact language for leadership and clients.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager.
• Proven experience leading cloud migration projects (Azure, AWS, or GCP), not just coordination support.
• Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Smartsheet.
• Ability to manage network-related projects and lead deployment meetings.
• Experience managing client expectations, change requests, scope adjustments, and escalations.
• Strong background in identifying and mitigating risks related to data loss, downtime, and security.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with M365, Exchange, SharePoint, or Teams migrations.
