Description

You will manage systems, software, and networks to ensure consistent operation within a production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, outages, and complex end-user escalation incidents.
• Maintain system reliability by monitoring, running tests, and performing OS and software upgrades or patches.
• Monitor backups and execute recovery plans for all critical functions.
• Collaborate with the Office of Information Security to monitor threats and implement response plans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for processes, procedures, and configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience working at a production site.
• Strong desktop support experience with Windows OS and Office 365 (including Teams and Teams phones).
• Experience managing Active Directory (Active Roles preferred).
• Ability to manage basic Server OS, set up shares, and configure permissions.
• Hands-on experience imaging computers and configuring mobile email on iPhones.
• Knowledge of network switches and accessing them via Putty.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Physical ability to work on your feet in a production area and wear safety shoes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Intermec printers, scanners, and Raspberry Pi devices.
• Experience supporting Dell hardware.
