Description

You will lead the planning, deployment, and management of virtualization technologies to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable virtualization solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Supervise and mentor a team of virtualization administrators, providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Monitor virtualized environments to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and manage capacity planning.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Maintain security policies and compliance standards across all virtualized environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with proven experience leading virtualization teams.
• Expertise in VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and Nutanix (AHV, AOS Prism Central).
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or Nutanix Calm.
• Deep understanding of Virtual Machine (VM) management.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, storage, and networking concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization and infrastructure issues.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
• Relevant certifications such as VCP, Nutanix certified, or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
