Description

You design and build automated solutions for network infrastructure, focusing on switches, routers, and analytics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated solutions for network equipment using Itential, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Build network dashboards to centralize views of network health, performance, and vulnerabilities using data from ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network automation processes.
• Identify automation use-cases and implement tools to automate business demands and network upgrades.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance to fellow engineers, and act as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with network protocols and technologies.
• 7+ years implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting network devices and functions in a large enterprise.
• 4+ years developing and utilizing network automation in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Itential.
• Experience with APIs, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows.
• Strong understanding of Cisco and Arista hardware.
• Ability to work independently and navigate global teams across different time zones.
• CCNA or equivalent trade certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with core networking vendors including Juniper, Meraki, Infoblox, Zscaler, and Velocloud SDWAN.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Dynatrace or Datadog.
