Description

You will manage the agency's LAN/WAN network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security across all remote sites and data centers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain routers, layer 3 switches, and WiFi systems (802.11n/ac/ax) to ensure stable operations.
• Manage next-generation firewalls, implementing IPS, IDS, port security, and network segmentation to prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and identify bottlenecks using network monitoring tools.
• Apply firmware upgrades, patches, and security updates to keep all network hardware current.
• Provide after-hours project support and escalation for critical network issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a similar enterprise environment.
• 3+ years supporting routers and layer 3 switches.
• 3+ years managing next-generation firewalls and implementing network segmentation.
• 3+ years supporting WiFi standards 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, VLANs, and site-to-site VPNs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and conduct routine maintenance.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical certifications (Network+, CCNA, CCNP, ECMS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive network documentation.
