Design, configure, and support the organization's communication networks and technical standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engineer complex network infrastructure modifications including Layer 2/3, VLANs, VRFs, PRP, and HSRP.
• Manage IT infrastructure through implementation, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of hardware and software.
• Configure network device monitoring and maintain detailed technical documentation of designs and processes.
• Collaborate with vendors and team members on procurement and project execution.
• Perform physical networking tasks including organizing, labeling, and running network cables.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical experience in IT infrastructure and networking.
• CCNA certification or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Expertise managing Cisco switches, Cisco wireless controllers, access points, ASA firewalls, and FMC.
• Hands-on experience with VPN and HSRP configurations.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as PRTG.
• Strong understanding of voice and data networks, wireless services, and network security (firewalls, IPS, and log analysis).
• Ability to read vendor documentation to configure new software or hardware.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Word.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NERC CIP Compliance or working in highly secure environments.
• Familiarity with Tripwire Enterprise, Dragos, Nessus, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, or Aruba devices.
