Description

You will manage the end-to-end IT competitive procurement process, from drafting solicitation documents to negotiating final contract terms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit RFPs, RFBs, and RFIs for IT goods and services on behalf of DOM and state agencies.
• Conduct competitive bidding, formal bid lettings, and contract awards for IT equipment and services.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to secure reasonable pricing.
• Counsel state agencies on competitive procurement processes and manage project expectations.
• Maintain vendor bid files and champion improvements to procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, competitive bidding, or contract negotiation.
• Proven experience drafting and managing RFPs, RFBs, and RFIs.
• Expertise in the DOM procurement process and state agency coordination.
• Strong communication skills for vendor interaction and agency counseling.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
• Highly organized and process-driven approach to task management.
• Experience performing detailed analysis and research for complex procurement tasks.
• Capability to provide weekly status reports including progress tracking and issue resolution.
