Description

Drive delivery of complex payments systems by bridging business needs with Java-based technical implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather, define, and prioritize requirements for payments initiatives including ACH and wires.
• Translate business needs into technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications.
• Lead design and requirement sessions while managing and refining the product backlog.
• Collaborate with Java development teams to ensure alignment on design and delivery.
• Manage internal project management processes and act as the primary liaison between business and technology.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• Background as a developer or technical analyst within a Java environment.
• Proven experience in financial services or payments systems.
• Ability to work with upstream and downstream systems leveraging Oracle databases.
• Strong capability in translating business goals into technical epics and stories.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated success in data-driven platform delivery.
• Experience with middleware payments domain work.
