Description

You will maintain system availability and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate production issues and respond to defects based on severity and SLA requirements.
• Manage user queries, log incident tickets, and track them through to closure to meet KPIs.
• Execute daily Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) processes for supported applications.
• Support annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and assist System Engineers with server-level patches and upgrades.
• Maintain application incident and task documentation for every production release.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of production support experience, specifically within banking or financial vendors.
• Hands-on experience with AS400/OPEN Systems and Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in writing AS400 queries, SQL queries, and DB scripts for issue investigation.
• Strong Linux/Unix Shell scripting skills for log parsing and incident optimization.
• Experience with MS SQL and Oracle databases.
• Working knowledge of BMC Control-M scheduler.
• Experience using monitoring tools including Geneos, Splunk, and SQL Monitor.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work in an onsite 24/7 shift-support model.
