Description

You will design, develop, and deploy mainframe applications, owning the full lifecycle from code review to production deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and refactor existing programs written in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Design, document, and develop new code for production deployment.
• Collaborate with peers, management, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Plan project work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience in a mainframe environment.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Experience with ITSM processes, including Incident, Release, and Change management.
• Hands-on experience with Serena ChangeMan Deployment tool.
• Working knowledge of IBM OnDemand Admin.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Tax system FIS ALLTEL/SYSTEMATICS applications (TX, IM, ST, AM, RM, SC, HX, and GN).
• Working knowledge of GoAnywhere.
