Description

You will manage Network Services projects through the full lifecycle, covering technical design, hardware, software, configuration, security, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of Network IT projects, including switch and router configuration, WiFi optimization, and network expansion.
• Develop all required project management deliverables and artifacts.
• Lead technical and business teams across multiple disciplines to manage schedule, scope, and resource requirements.
• Identify risks and coordinate resolutions with project leadership.
• Communicate project status, including schedule, scope, quality, and cost, to the Director and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10 years of work experience in the Information Technology industry.
• 8 years of experience managing IT projects.
• 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure environments and implementation/deployment projects.
• 3 years of experience managing large-scale projects implementing network infrastructure components.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and Visio.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for documenting deliverables and reporting status to executive stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects within complex, resource-constrained enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience managing projects in Texas state government or within a Health and Human Services agency.
