Description

You will lead and coordinate the deployment of IT equipment for emergency and public safety vehicles across the Austin area.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and field execution across multiple locations.
• Oversee hardware migration from legacy systems to Panasonic Toughbooks.
• Review and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure vendor deliverables are met.
• Track progress, risks, and issues while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Support troubleshooting for hardware, connectivity, and deployment challenges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management or Technical Project Coordination.
• Strong background in IT hardware deployments, network support, or infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on understanding of end-user hardware, including laptops, mobile devices, and vehicle-mounted systems.
• Practical knowledge of networking basics, including connectivity, troubleshooting, and configurations.
• Experience working with or managing SOWs and vendor deliverables.
• Ability to work in a field-based environment with regular local travel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check.
