Description

Lead large enterprise-scale IT projects from planning through to successful conclusion, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including user requirements, deliverables, and approval workflows.
• Coordinate activities across internal stakeholders and contracted resources to ensure project objectives are met.
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical concepts to senior management and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Mentor lower-level Project Managers and provide guidance on professional development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Proven experience managing large software projects within the State of Indiana.
• Strong knowledge of the Information Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex technical terms into business concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building project plans and risk registers in collaboration with technical teams.
