Description

You will lead release planning, deployment management, and cross-team coordination to ensure software deliveries meet scope, quality, and schedule requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own release planning by ensuring clear requirements across dependent project streams and managing interrelated processes.
• Mitigate risks and resolve challenges impacting release scope, quality, and timelines.
• Manage the development of deliverables into production and test environments, including creating deployment, implementation, and run books.
• Monitor progress against budgetary limits and quality standards while communicating release plans to business teams.
• Conduct release readiness reviews, validate release notes, and coordinate checklist execution to ensure operational success.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• 3+ years of Release Management experience across multiple teams.
• 2+ years of project management experience for a State Medicaid Agency or a large healthcare management organization.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Visio, and MS Office.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of H.R.1.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Integrated Eligibility projects.
• 2+ years of experience in the M&O phase of the project lifecycle.
• Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
