Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the execution of IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within established timelines and quality standards. The IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify and address challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Assist in research, analysis, documentation, negotiation, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, deliverables, project closing, and post-rollout review/audit.
Coordinate with on-site employees for design, development, testing, and implementation of IT projects.
Ensure flawless execution of projects by coordinating with IT employees at project locations.
Team Collaboration:
Confer with IT personnel to identify and resolve problems, managing work breakdown structure with the project team.
Identify and assess training needs within the organization's IT employees and conduct regular scrum meetings.
Project Governance:
Define and deploy a project governance program for regular project reviews and decision-making.
Manage project issues and risks through identification, evaluation, tracking, communication, and mediation.
Resource Management:
Obtain necessary IT resources, establish project teams, and delegate responsibilities to team members.
Facilitate the definition of project goals, tasks, and resource requirements for effective project management activities.
Monitoring and Coordination:
Monitor, coordinate, and assist tasks to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
Plan and coordinate the work of various IT professionals, ensuring efficient collaboration and task completion.
Technical Expertise:
Analyze problems, formulate solutions, and work with the project team to design and develop technical solutions.
Develop filters and dashboards in JIRA to track project progress and enhance overall efficiency.
Agile/Scrum Methodology:
Improve project team productivity by implementing a scalable and repeatable agile/scrum-based development methodology.
Analyze business requirements and collaborate with the project team to design technical solutions.
Training and Development:
Assess IT employees' training needs and develop training programs utilizing available resources.
Create and execute a comprehensive change management plan, considering both project and business teams' change needs.
Recommend, plan, and implement employee training and skill development activities in cutting-edge technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in IT project management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
Ability to analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions.
Experience in change management and training program development.
