Description

Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects, including core banking upgrades and digital modernization initiatives.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance, RAID logs, and communication plans to align stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Manage budgets of $1M–$10M+, resource planning, and vendor relationships across engineering, QA, and offshore teams.
• Lead requirement workshops, solution reviews, and change management activities while ensuring compliance with AML/KYC, PCI, SOX, and FFIEC standards.
• Track KPIs, produce executive dashboards, and proactively escalate risks to deliver projects within scope, timeline, and cost.
• Oversee hybrid delivery models, combining Agile/Scrum with traditional SDLC methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 5+ years in banking or financial services.
• Strong command of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience managing multi-vendor environments and large-scale budgets.
• Expertise in banking systems: core banking, payments, lending, digital banking, or regulatory tech.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
• Ability to lead requirement workshops and solution reviews effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with cloud migration (Azure/AWS) or data modernization.
