Description

You will manage 3-5 simultaneous application development projects, including COTS and in-house solutions, ensuring vendor compliance with Secure System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution, budgets, schedules, and scope from initiation to closeout.
• Develop and maintain formal schedules in Microsoft Project, tracking variances against baselines.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies to update schedules and report status to leadership.
• Manage change requests, deliverable acceptance, and quality governance processes.
• Lead multi-phased IT projects for state agencies with strict ethical and legal compliance.

Required Skills

• 84 months (7 years) of experience as a Project Manager.
• Active PMP Certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project for schedule tracking and management.
• Experience managing COTS implementations, version upgrades, and custom development.
• Strong knowledge of SSDLC, UAT, and end-to-end system testing.
• Expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Ability to manage vendor deliverables and triage incidents.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing high-visibility projects for state agencies.
• Background in investigating non-compliance and ensuring legal mandates.
