Description

You will manage the intersection of project planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for MES projects to ensure resource optimization across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and data gathering to develop the IT Project Financial plan.
• Conduct estimation, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for project environments.
• Execute pre-contract support including vendor pre-qualification via RFI, IFB, RFP, and RFQ processes.
• Monitor subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure agreements are executed timely and changes are accounted for in the budget.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance, budget activities, and monthly/year-end reconciliation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or financial management roles.
• Expertise in RFI, IFB, RFP, and RFQ procurement processes.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Experience with financial forecasting, cost allocation, and budget tracking.
• Ability to perform vendor pre-qualification and document evaluation against business and regulatory standards.
• Strong skills in data analysis, financial reporting, and building project scorecards.
• Knowledge of PMI processes and project management oversight.
• Experience managing complex budgets involving state and federal agency funds.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with charge code management systems for fund expiration tracking.
