Description

You will manage complex information technology projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex IT projects involving mainframe, SQL server, and JAVA technologies.
  • Coordinate work teams to meet tight project deadlines.
  • Identify, track, and resolve technical issues and project barriers.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to project team members.

Required Skills

  • Active PMP certification from PMI is required.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing waterfall and agile project lifecycles.
  • Technical familiarity managing mainframe, SQL server, and JAVA environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse groups.
  • Ability to pick up hardware in person in Richmond, VA for device activation.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with Commonwealth of Virginia projects.
