Description

You will manage ServiceNow CMDB health, data integrity, and integration processes, owning the lifecycle of Configuration Items and ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular audits and remediate stale, duplicate, or orphaned configuration items using the CMDB Health Dashboard.
• Manage ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Servers, credentials, and schedules, while configuring integrations with third-party tools like SCCM or cloud providers.
• Drive business service mapping and enforce CSDM alignment to ensure accurate impact analysis for Change, Problem, and Incident Management.
• Enforce CMDB policies, naming conventions, and data certification procedures to maintain governance and compliance.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports on CMDB health, data quality, and compliance metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or CMDB administration.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, including CSA and CIS Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) credentials.
• Strong understanding of CSDM principles and CMDB fundamentals.
• Experience with SQL and JavaScript for data analysis and reporting.
• ITIL Foundation certification (v4 or v5).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify configuration drifts, and perform root cause analysis.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Data Foundations credential.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM, Azure, or AWS.
