Description

Lead the evaluation, implementation, and requirements support for new rail crew management software systems, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and operational efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement new crew management solutions and optimize operational procedures.
• Ensure all technical implementations strictly comply with 49 CFR Part 228 – Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Manage relationships between rail crew management personnel, executives, and external partners.
• Identify and manage key personnel required to fulfill the project scope of services.
• Translate complex technical information for non-technical personnel and executives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of specialized experience in crew management and developing management procedures.
• Proven track record deploying technical systems for crew management or transportation software.
• Deep understanding of Train & Engine (T&E) operations and rail labor contracts/union agreements.
• Expertise in Performance Management, Risk Management, Modeling, Change Management, or Database Management.
• Strong knowledge of 49 CFR Part 228 – Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Advanced data management skills including analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments in the transportation or public transit sector.
