Description

You will manage and deliver complex IT projects involving multiple teams and workstreams under aggressive delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases including Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closeout using the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management.
• Own the outcome of assigned projects involving SaaS and IT infrastructure components.
• Coordinate multi-stream projects including server, storage, OS upgrades, and networking.
• Oversee vulnerability remediation and software installations.
• Manage vendor relationships and technical delivery teams.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure delivery.
• PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from VITA.
• Hands-on experience with network and server infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Cloud implementations.
• Familiarity with network technologies including switches, firewalls, and circuits.
• Experience managing large, multi-stream projects.
• Proficiency in various software development methodologies.
• Ability to work onsite in Virginia Beach, VA, 3-4 days per week.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
