📌 Job Overview

We are looking for a highly driven IT Project Manager to lead initiatives around Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). You will act as the bridge between IT and warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

Lead end-to-end delivery of WMCS-related projects (WMS, WCS, automation, conveyor, sortation systems)

Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables

Execute projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies

Oversee multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Coordinate system upgrades and go-lives with minimal operational disruption

Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as the primary liaison between IT, operations, vendors, and leadership

Conduct status meetings, steering committees, and cross-functional sessions

Communicate risks, progress, and updates clearly across all levels

Translate business needs into scalable IT solutions

Documentation & Governance

Create and maintain project charters, SOPs, test plans, and user guides

Ensure compliance with ITIL and change management processes

Maintain documentation repositories and version control

Prepare executive-level presentations and reports

System Optimization

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy

Lead requirement gathering, gap analysis, and system evaluations

Manage vendor selection and third-party implementations

Drive continuous improvement post-implementation

✅ Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field

5+ years of IT project management experience

2+ years in warehouse/logistics/distribution environments

Hands-on experience with WMS/WCS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Körber, Honeywell, Dematic)

Strong project lifecycle management experience

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

PMP / CAPM certification

Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence)

Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies

Exposure to EDI, ERP integrations, automation (ASRS, robotics)

Familiarity with ITIL framework

Experience in multi-site distribution operations
